Since 1852, the Barry Expo Center has been a multi-purpose event center located in Hastings, Michigan. With the advantage of hard work, sponsors, and volunteers, today's Barry Expo Center is home to the annual Barry County Fair, 6 barns, 3 outdoor arenas, a 1/2 mile race track, a 260 site campground with full water/electric hook-up, 2 banquet halls, and a fully licensed kitchen for those special celebrations!

Our Mission

The mission of the Barry County Agricultural Society is to provide the best county fair possible for all residents of Barry and surrounding counties.  It provides a gathering place for all communities to showcase their products and skills.  It creates educational, social, cultural and economic opportunities to preserve and promote agriculture and traditions.  The Barry County Agricultural Society provides the most valuable, educational and entertaining experience that resources will allow.  Operations of the fairgrounds facilities year round are to serve the community by providing multi-purpose facilities for both public and private events in a responsible manner generating economic stimulation and tourism development in the community.

In carrying out the purpose of the Barry County Agricultural Society, policies and activities will be guided by following the rules of the State, County, and the Board of Directors.
